21 Mile, 200 barrel/min Water Transfer System

21 Mile, Dual HDPE Lines, Bi-Directional Water Transfer System, Permian Basin.

Our teams delivered a high-value project result for our client by providing “concept-to-commissioning” services on a mission critical water transfer pipeline in the Permian Basin.

The 21-mile-long recycled water transfer pipeline, has a capacity to move over 288,000 barrels of water every day, and is supporting significant fracking operations and production. The system is fully automated and designed to have a 30-year lifespan.

Utilizing more the 10,000 horsepower of pumps and motors the pipeline has the capacity to support two simultaneous frack crews in different locations on the property.

It is operated from 7 fully automated hub locations, made up of 3 origination points and 4 booster stations, along its length.

Significant savings will be seen monthly by minimizing diesel consumption and emissions due to the reduction of vehicle movements which the pipeline has replaced.
