As QHSE Manager, Yus’ mission is to create a robust QHSE culture by focusing on the One Team collaboration, strategic QHSE O&T, QHSE processes, learning review, employee participation, leadership engagement, and enhancing QHSE communication through tailored and effective QHSE campaigns to protect the people, assets, and environment.

Yus holds a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), a NEBOSH certification, a Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (BSc), and a Master of Engineering in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management (MEng) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Yus is a lead auditor for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and an internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 27001, and the Integrated Management System. Yus is a proud Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) member, American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi member (UAB chapter).

When not working, Yus enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoying the science museum and butterfly garden with her son. When time permits, she likes to travel around the world and write a book.
